Gas Bottles 101: The Kitchen Stove, BBQ & Instant Hot Water Squad
Here’s the lowdown: two big, burly gas bottles chill out in the downstairs carpark garden bed — left side, front and back, snug by the stairs. They’re parked right in front of Apartment #1’s car spots, waiting quietly to fuel your cooking and hot showers.
We keep them happy and full with a fancy scheduled swap every two months. If you ever find the gas playing hard to get, simply twist off the empty bottle's nozzle (top bit, easy peasy) and twist on the full one.
Need backup? Don’t hesitate to give Fiona or Jacob a shout — they’re your gas gurus!

There are plenty of light switches and lamps sprinkled throughout the apartments because, let’s be honest, we’re big fans of mood lighting! For that perfect nighttime vibe, pop on the lamp in the living room corner, flick on the lights behind the wall sconces leading up the stairs to the master bedroom, and don’t forget the rangehood lights in the kitchen – yes, even your culinary adventures deserve a spotlight!
If you find yourself wrestling with lights or power (we’ve all been there), the switchboard is tucked away in the cupboard opposite the laundry. You’ll spot any tripped circuit breakers because, unlike their well-behaved siblings, they’ll be facing the opposite direction. Just give them a cheeky flick back on.
Sometimes, the power plays hard to get with unexpected outages. To stay in the loop, you can keep an eye on Essential Energy’s website for the latest updates.
